One of the experiences I had led me to receive a vision and as time went on God continued to show me how big this vision would be. I always said to him "I could not do it as I have a mortgage to pay and why me." God knew that I was to make that sacrifice but it was difficult as I was working and sustaining a family. We serve the true and ever living God, I will sing of His love forever as the Lord have being mighty good to me and my family, when I was not servicing Him. Things happened in our lives for a reason, and in every situation we need to praise Him as He knows and holds the future. "In every thing give a thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." (1 Thessalonians 5:18) Two years following the volcanic eruption and the situation began to worsen on island, as a mother I made the decision to migrate to England as I needed to put plans in place with regards to my children future in terms of their education. Arriving in England we continued to fellowship at a Catholic church, in the area where we lived, as this was my religion. The service as 1 hour, which was totally different to what we knew. Life prepares us for many things, but how does it prepare you for a tragedy? A loss of any kind is not something that one can ever overcome unless one is rooted and grounded in Christ. In Isaiah 43:2 we are promised that God will be with us. Therefore when the sorrows that life sends us somehow try to encompass us, we should claim those words and cling to His unwavering promises. My family had just gone through a tragic experience. My brother had died after being incarcerated for over ten years. We were devastated. How could God allow this another terrible tragedy to face my family? It was in the early days of summer five years after the birth of our first child we were preparing excitedly for a new member of the family; However, as the due date drew closer things began to spiral out of control. My health deteriorated and nothing seemed to be going well with the pregnancy. . Concern gave way to fear, and fear to despair. The scripture makes it quite clear that evil powers hover over nations, cities, households and even individuals. Various forms of Spiritual warfare can be waged against these evil forces.In the example illustrated by the events in the Book of Joshua, Chapter 6, the children of Israel under Joshua’s leadership were led to march around the city of Jericho until the time came to shout triumph before the Lord. The priest led in worship, playing the trumpets as Joshua directed and a great battle was won. In that battle the children of Israel had become by their shouts and the sounds of the trumpet, a “Re-reward”, a gathered people who had the power to destroy the enemy.
